ホテル・メッツァペウラへようこそ (Welcome to Hotel Metsäpeura)
This manga doesn’t seem to have an official translation for now (or at least none I could find), so the japanese title it is.
Again, I stumbled on some pictures I liked and decided to look it up. It had very cozy vibes, and it didn’t disappoint in that regard. Also, I choose the right time to reading this, since the story is set around christmas time. So yeah, cozy christmas story incoming. We are in the very northern part of Finland, at the Hotel Metsäpeura, run by two elderly man. The visitors are few, but there. Both of them pick up a lost japanese boy with a troubled past (the yakuza tatoos are a dead giveaway) and decide to employ him in their hotel. At the beginning shy and timid, Jun warms up to them and the hotel guests. Half-japanese, half-finish, he came to Finland to find his mother who left him in Japan. Both old man are very precious, they are the best.
