Set yourself on fire

Sometimes, people do amazing things with very little. Set yourself on fire is a one-person visual novel without any choice and gameplay. Only art and text. And it does so wonderfully. Even its steam description is original in its own way : “A quiet town awaits death. Two young women fall in love.” Yes, that’s it. It tells the story...

Unquiet Grey

Endysis makes Visual Novels, most of them short and free. And I love them all. I already talked about Trail of Stars on this blog. Unquiet Grey is another one of them, free again. You can buy a supporter pack, which does have some short stories and other content. The story of Unquiet Grey was beautiful and well told. It...

Trail of Stars

From the same developer as It Paints me, Trail of Stars is another short free visual novel. It is a short romantic visual novel and a bittersweet story of first love between two squires, a girl and a boy, in medieval time. It is also a prequel to their upcoming visual novel The Last Winter Knight. The visuals are nice,...

Poco

Poco is a free game from 2025. Even though it is short, I do not understand why this game is free. The quality of this game is impressive. You’re playing a tiny clown who gets banned from their circus because of their lack of skills. You need to gather 3 rocket pieces by helping people out and fly back! The...

Dogwalk

So, have you ever dreamed of being a dog walking its human, and not being a human walking their dog? Me neither, but I should have. Blender Studio gives us a nice short and free game, Dogwalk. Around twenty minutes, I would say. You’re playing a dog running around a snow landscape, and a human child is attached to you....

20 Small Mazes

FLEB did another free game, this time 20 Small Mazes. He does love his puzzles, and that’s great for me, I love puzzles. In contrast to RYB, his other free game, 20 Small Mazes already shows off the whimsical and “outside of the box thinking” which made Strange Jigsaws so fun to play. And his daughter helped in this one...

RYB

I discovered that FLEB (Strange Jigsaws) did other games. Free ones at that, so I played them. RYB is very simple in its idea: colour in some forms. Tiny dots in the forms tell you which colour is adjacent to them. Have fun with the rules getting more complex as the games goes on. There is nothing much to say...

If On A Winter’s Night, Four Travelers

Sometimes, free games are actually good. If On A Winter’s Night, Four Travelers has been a pleasant surprise in that regard. It is a free horror point and click. It will take roughly three hours to beat. And the pixel art ist simply amazing. You’re following the stories of some travellers on a train. They do not quite remember how...

Brouillamini is a old french word for chaos and disorder. This website does not have any purpose whatsoever other than compiling thingies and stuffies that I find interesting or curious. Languages and spelling mistakes are going to be all over the place. If you stumbled on this website by chance, welcome and I hope there is something you’re going to like! If not, well that’s cool too, thank you for passing by!
