February 6, 2026 Her Story I liked the Roottrees are dead and Obra Dinn. Her Story comes up frequently when you look into games that you may enjoy when you liked these two games. So obviously, I played it. The premise is great. You have access to a database of short videos about a woman being interrogated by the police. The videos have been cut... February 3, 2026 Cunk on Earth/on Life Ok. This is great. This is very british. The humour is perfect. The actress does an excellent job, I applaud her to be this stoic while asking and saying the stupiest (but true) things. She is great. The people she interviewed had the funniest reactions. I need more of Philomena Cunk. The world needs more Cunk mockumentaries. Cunk on Earth... Categories films & séries Comments: 0
January 30, 2026 Poco Poco is a free game from 2025. Even though it is short, I do not understand why this game is free. The quality of this game is impressive. You’re playing a tiny clown who gets banned from their circus because of their lack of skills. You need to gather 3 rocket pieces by helping people out and fly back! The... January 29, 2026 Uketsu – Strange Houses Strange Houses has an interesting premise: our protagonists look at the floor plans of some house and realise that the whole thing feels off. It then continues to spiral out of control. The idea is interesting, but the execution is a bit weird. We begin in “there is a weird useless space” to “this is a murder house where an... January 28, 2026 Neil Gaiman – Stardust I’ve never really read much of Gaiman’s work for some reason. I’ve seen lots of movies about his books, though. So I figured Stardust is as good as a beginning as every other Gaiman book. I’ve loved the film when I was 18, it is not too long, a nice book to begin the yearly reading challenge. The book was... January 27, 2026 The Phoenician Scheme I do enjoy Wes Anderson a great deal. Every shot in his films is a masterpiece. The Phoenician Scheme is excessively good in that regard, every shot is its own artwork. The overall story is kinda… there. I enjoyed it for what it is and like the more absurd and surrealists part of it. But I am also very alone... Categories films & séries Comments: 0
January 27, 2026 Dune (Villeneuve) I finally watched Villeneuve’s Dune (yay, only 4 years late). I like everything I’ve seen from Villeneuve, so I’m not on the hate train, but a lot of people I know actually are, for my surprise. The movie was well crafted, well acted and overall there was a lot of care in it. As far as I know, it did... Categories films & séries Comments: 0
