Asbury Pines

I like my yearly idle game, but I never knew I needed a story in my idle games, but here I am. Asbury Pines is great. It is an idle game where you discover the story of Asbury Pines, an american town. The characters live their lives, scavange, work, built a community, there are different time eras and the story of a pine tree and a raccoon to discover.

The game is in early access as of now, but it has around 19h of gameplay and story I recon. It would be great if they added an accessible option for the text at one point, because, as nicely crafted as it is, dyslexic people will have a hard time reading some of it. There is a lot of text to go through and every note is adapted to the kind of text it represents: a newspaper one looks like a newspaper, a handwritten note like a handwritten note, etc.
