1000xResist

My first game of 2026, yay! As already said in my games from 2025 list, I’ve finished the game already, but I wanted all the achievements, so all the different endings. I was somewhat too lazy, because it is not that hard to get them. They all diverge at the same ending point. Anyway, I did it.

1000xResist is a very weird game. Apparently the writer doesn’t like playing video games but did this in the Covid19 years since the theaters were closed (and she’s a theater writer most of all). There is something very theatrical about 1000xResist.

The storytelling is where this game shines the most. It is very well done, very well narrated, and the story fits itself well together. It is a very weird story, though, so the more you uncover, the more you’re going to like or dislike it. Post-apocalpytic sci-fi viusal novel. You move around in the 3D space, but it is in its core a visual novel.
